Senior Accountant
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage and oversee the company’s financial records, compliance, and reporting processes. The candidate will be responsible for handling accounting operations, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and coordinating with auditors and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Financial Management
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and account reconciliation.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
2. Statutory Compliance
- Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory filings in compliance with government regulations.
- Ensure timely filing of returns and maintain proper statutory records.
- Keep track of changes in tax laws and ensure compliance.
3. Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Ensure timely vendor payments and follow-ups on receivables.
- Reconcile vendor and customer accounts periodically.
4. Audit & Reporting
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors for audits and financial reviews.
- Prepare financial reports, MIS reports, and management reports.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
5. Banking & Compliance
- Handle bank reconciliations and manage banking transactions.
- Maintain financial controls and ensure adherence to company policies.
Qualifications
- Inter CA (CA Intermediate) or equivalent qualification in Accounting/Finance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting and financial management.
Key Skills
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
- Experience in financial reporting and MIS preparation
- Proficiency in Tally / ERP systems and MS Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and coordination abilities
