Store & Purchase Executive
Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Store & Purchase Executive to manage store operations, warehouse inventory, and procurement activities. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, handling inward and outward material movement, coordinating with vendors for purchases, and ensuring proper stock availability for smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Store & Warehouse Management
- Manage day-to-day store operations including material receipt, storage, and dispatch.
- Maintain proper records of inward and outward stock.
- Ensure materials are stored safely and systematically in the warehouse.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile with system records.
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records in Excel or ERP system.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
- Track slow-moving or obsolete inventory and report to management.
- Generate inventory reports as required.
Purchase & Vendor Coordination
- Identify and coordinate with vendors for procurement of required materials.
- Obtain quotations and compare prices for cost-effective purchasing.
- Create and process purchase orders.
- Follow up with vendors for timely delivery of materials.
Coordination, Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain proper documentation for purchase orders, delivery challans, invoices, and stock records.
- Prepare and update reports related to inventory levels, material movement, and purchase activities.
- Coordinate with operations, technical, and accounts teams for material requirements and purchase processes.
- Ensure proper record keeping of stock inward/outward and vendor transactions.
- Support internal teams by providing accurate inventory and purchase-related information when required.
Qualifications
- Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience
- 3–6 years of experience in store, warehouse, inventory, or purchase operations.
Key Skills
- Knowledge of inventory and store management
- Basic understanding of purchase and vendor coordination
- Good knowledge of MS Excel / ERP systems
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
